Twilight

Yea Yea, I'm one of the nerds that read the whole series. I read the first three about a year ago, so I've been anticipating the release of the Twilight movie for quite some time.

My cousin Chelsey bought tickets to the midnight showing of the movie about a week in advance. I was pretty excited. Who cares that I had to work the next morning at 7:00 AM? So I took the journey out to Mesa, but I was not about to stand in line by myself with all the weird Twilight lovers. So here is a picture of me in the car anxiously awaiting for everyone else to show up...

Yay!

I got bored, so here is a picture of my toes.

Finally, we got in the theater! There were so many weird people there. A part of me wishes I had bought a shirt. Mine would have been a "Team Jacob" shirt. I guess I'm not a hopeless romantic. All the other girls had "I love Edward" or "Team Edward" shirts.

Whitney finally showed up...and brought me a Monster (energy drink)!

So, at 12:01 the movie started....and so did the screams from 200 teeny-bopper girls. Annoying. They would scream or giggle everytime Edward would come on screen.

Well.....here is my reaction to the movie:

It was not what I expected. I know the book is really cheesy but the movie took it to a whole new level. If you haven't seen it, I wont ruin for you but needless to say- I wont be rushing to see the next ones that come out.

Better luck next time, Directors.

Bummer! I don't read.. so I'm excited to see the movie so I can kinda see what it's about. One of my good friends is unbeleivable obsessed and she wasn't too thrilled either. Oh well... sounds like fun still? Next time your in town you better come visit me, I'm right down around the corner from your Mom!!!!

I liked the books, but didn't LOVE them like so many people... I'm not sure if I want to see the movie or not. It seems that I never like movies when I've read the books. Besides, Edward is supposed to be drop dead gorgeous and the Edward in the movie is NOT. And I'm with you... JACOB!

Im so glad you were there with me so I atleast had someone to laugh with. I can't believe how stupid it was. I loved the books but man they could have picked better actors! Sorry actors! :)
